It must be deep enough to avoid winter ice but high enough to stay out of the silt. We build your stand height based on the specific depth and floor profile of your shoreline.
Can I install this stand myself?
We offer DIY stands, but we recommend our boat and diving service for Lake Superior or deep sites. Professional placement helps you avoid costly motor bearing repairs.
Will this stop my pump from losing prime?
Yes, if the leak is at the valve. If your pump has mechanical issues, we also provide professional seal and motor bearing replacements to get your water running again.
Are these stands heavy enough for waves?
